Lucinda is the founder and director of Connexion. She has extensive experience as a practitioner and manager in health, education, justice and social care sectors in Ireland and the UK. These services included residential care, assessment centres, long term therapeutic centres, community and outreach services, homeless and addition services. Before setting up Connexion, Lucinda was manager of a high support unit with a special school on site.

Lucinda believes that her 15 years working as a practitioner and manger, as well as her academic training, has equipped her to provide high quality training and consultancy in this area.

Lucinda began training TCI in 1999 and is a Professionally Certified TCI Trainer. Lucinda provides TCI training and implementation support to a variety of services across Ireland, including residential care, schools, community groups, foster care, homeless sector, disability services and mental health settings.

Lucinda is a Partner of TCI Ireland, TCI Ireland is an alliance of Professionally Certified Trainers and Instructors in Ireland aiming to ensure high quality and consistent practice in the delivery and implementation of the TCI system.

Lucinda is also the Practice Manager of Core Counselling & Psychotherapy, She also maintains a private practice as a psychotherapist in Core.


Connexion has a number of associates who offer training packages across a variety of disciplines including social work, teaching, medical staff, psychiatry, psychology, drama/art therapy. All our associates have a minimum of 10 years experience in working as a practitioner in their area of expertise.
